Personally I would not give up on the Evening Primrose Oil, it could be doing a lot of good elsewhere. My hair went all greasy after I changed my intake of Wild Yam (PMT/Menopause), and I don't intend changing that!! On the topic of teas, I used to use Camomile tea on my hair as a wash. I collected the flowers from the allotment garden and poured hot water on them, it helps.
