Hi and thanks for the ideas! Personally I would not give up on the Evening Primrose Oil, it could be doing a lot of good elsewhere. My hair went all greasy after I changed my intake of Wild Yam (PMT/Menopause), and I don't intend changing that!!
On the topic of teas, I used to use Camomile tea on my hair as a wash. I collected the flowers from the allotment garden and poured hot water on them, it helps. Maybe I should start that again only they are not in flower at this time of year.
with thanks for your suggestions all of you, love Gemma

Thank you so much!! My hair has suddenly gone greasy and guess what, also been taking a slightly higher dose evening primrose oil than usual (I think from Superdrug too!). Right off, to get some bicarb of soda and ditch the EPO.

I didnt know you could use bicarbonate of soda for greasy hair. Ill do a bit more research before I go about using it.

Here are a few sites to check out about the wonderful world of Kefir that most of us for some reason haven't heard of...lol.. (I grow both milk and water and love them both. All my livestock are also feed it.)

Here is Oprah's site on.
http://www2.oprah.com/presents/2005/young/life/life_yogurtkefir_d.jhtml

Here is a really detailed site on it that I just love
http://users.chariot.net.au/~dna/Makekefir.html

Also my favorite magazine -Mother Earth has some stuff on it
So, does my favorite book-The Encyclopedia of Country Living (not a lot of info on kefir in this book but I still HIGHLY recommend this book for other health reasons. It does talk some about kefir tho.)

It's also great for upset tummy's! A lot of people who raise goats feed it free choice.
