I’ve Been Reviewed by “Cash for Comments”

As Natural Health Remedies is a blog and being social is what keeps blogging alive, I decided to take part in a Free ReviewMe offered by CASH for COMMENTS owner “Mr P”.

What he says about my site is quite interesting. First of all he likes my blog layout and logo plus the article I wrote on how to cure bad breath . But then he commented that I should put my photo onto the About Me page. It’s funny how everyone has a different take on things like this, I mainly put my photo there because that’s what Allan Gardyne does.

There’s so many MFA (Made for Adsense) sites which are thrown up using blogs. They’re created with no love and attention plus they’re very faceless. With my blog I want people to know that I’m a real person, you can leave a comment and I’ll reply.

Another blogger Nate Whitehill talks about the importance of choosing a header image. For reason number 4 he talks about how he has placed his own photo in the header: “I recently added my photo to the top of my header and have already noticed my subscriber count go up.”

For now I think I’ll keep me photo where it is 🙂

If you have a blog and want a free review, check out Mr P’s blog site and leave him 5 comments.

  1. I as it makes your website more “personable”. Do you know I received more traffic when I placed my picture on the front page? I tested that out last month the results were very interesting.

If you notice Darren Rowse (Pro Blogger) has his picture on the left hand side of his screen it hasn’t hurt him in the least he does very well many bloggers I like have their picture on their start page. I like that. I can instantly make a connection with the blog content and the person behind it.

I agree that your photo is better on the front page. It is more personal and puts a face on the webpage.

So many websites are impersonal and faceless. Even small businesses on the web appear like giant corporations that don’t care. Even some blogs out there are like mini companies within many paid bloggers on staff. I am just a ONE man company !! My website http://wwww.ecoshopper.net has to compete with Treehugger wich has a staff of 8-10 people!

I know that you can put Technorati badge with your profile photo on it. I am going to do this.

One more thing your face is very pretty so I would definitel show it off !!

Thanks for the photo. tips and an interesting blog. I shall be putting two more comments up with pleasure.

  6. I agree who wants to read another anonymous faceless blog. Sticking your photo out there adds some degree of preparing to stand by what you write.
